April Archery Week
Running Classes with John Byrne & Ashley Hill
 
Our competitive running coaches, John Byrne and Ashley Hill, have  created a  fantastic running program for people of all ages and abilities.  We have classes for adults, teens, and kids; for beginners through marathoners in training.  Read on for descriptions of these great classes.  Free class if you're willing to blog about it.  First come, first served.  Contact Melissa Davis, melissa.davis@greenwich1on1.com
 
You can join in anytime beginning week of May 18. Eastern or Central Greenwich locations depending on interest.  Different times, days, and meeting places may be available if you would like to put together your own group.  Please call our office at (203) 344-9277.
 
 
ADULTS
Learn to Run
Specifically designed for beginner or intermediate level runners who would like to improve their overall health and tackle the sport of running. We start easily and gradually work our way up to increased speed and endurance over the weeks.
 
Maximum 10 per section. Price: $35 per person/per week. 4, 6, or 8 week options.
$225 for all 8 weeks!
 
Section A: Wednesday mornings 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.
Section B: Wednesday mornings 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
Section C: Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 8pm.
Other days and times may be available based on interest.
 
Race Training
Workouts encompass all levels of runners from beginner to advanced competitors, but at a more intense pace than our Learn to Run class. Classes are 15 minutes longer.  Emphasis is on running faster and individual development. 4, 8 and 12 week options culminating in a local 5K, 10K or half marathon according to interest and ability. Sign on for 8 – 12 weeks and we will pick up your race fee!
 
Maximum 8 per section. $35 per person, per week.
$225 for an 8-week package
Section A: Tuesdays 7:30 – 8:45 a.m.
Section B: Tuesdays 9:00 – 10:15 a.m.
Section C: Tuesday evenings 6:30 – 7:45 p.m.
Other days and times may be available based on interest.

NYC (or other) Marathon Training
The best preparation for the 2008 NYC marathon, or any marathon, begins this spring and summer at Greenwich 1on1. This program is specifically geared so that you will be ready and prepared both physically and mentally for the challenge of racing in NYC. We offer programs for both the advanced and beginner marathoners and everyone in between. It is a progressive program, individually tailored, so that you reach your goals -- whether you’re trying to finish your first marathon or set a personal record. 14 weeks is ideal for this program, but shorter program options are available; please inquire.
 
Maximum group of 8. $40 per person, per week.

Morning and evening times available according to interest.
 
TEENS
Spring Sunset Runs for Teens and Teen Athletes
Running is great for those who don’t want to do team sports, or for people on a team sport who want to improve their speed and/or stamina. Becoming a stronger runner will help you in your sport.
 
Maximum 10 participants per class. $30 per week.
Fridays 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Meet at Binney or Bruce Park.
 
KIDS
You’re Never to Young to Run (or race) for kids ages 7-13
Kids love to run and race. Kids ages 8 – 13 will enjoy working with our coaches to learn running basics, improve stamina, and have fun running with their peers. We will divide groups by age.  Class culminates in our own Greenwich 1-on-1 race – 1 mile and 3 mile options.

Tuesdays or Wednesdays 4:00 – 5:00 or 5:00 – 6:00.
Meet at Eastern Middle School or Central Middle School
Maximum 6-8 participants per class. $30 per participant per week.
