Brian Small - Ohio Wesleyan All NCAC, USLIA ALl American, Assistant Coach Sacred Heart University men's lacrosse

 

Brian Small lives and breathes lacrosse.  A 2005 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, Small stared as a midfielder where he was a 3 time All North Coast Athletic Conference Honoree, and a 2005 USILA All American and was selected to play in the prestigious North South All Star Game. Small helped lead the Bishops to the 2003 and 2005 NCAA Tournaments and led the team in ground balls in 2004 and 2005.  After graduation Small signed a professional contract with the Baltimore Bayhawks of Major League Lacrosse and played as a defensive midfielder.

 

Last spring, Small returned to OWU to coach and helped lead the Ohio Wesleyan Bishops to a 10-5 record and to a berth in the 2009 NCAA tournament. While at OWU, Small coached the Bishops midfielders, defense, man down and faceoff specialists. In addition to his coaching duties at Ohio Wesleyan, Small also coached the AYO's of the Columbus Indoor Lacrosse League to an undefeated season.

 

Prior to his collegiate coaching career, Small was the Head Varsity Coach at Dundalk High School in Baltimore where he lead the team to the 2008 Maryland State High School Tournament. He began his coaching career at Parkville High School in Baltimore as the Head JV Lacrosse Coach.

A native of Baltimore, MD Small is a 2001 Graduate of Calvert Hall College High School where he was a standout lacrosse and basketball player. Small currently resides in Black Rock with his dog Wylie.


Michael Gault - Dartmouth Big Green, All New England/All American Honors


Mike Gault was a four-year starter in net for the Big Green, earning All New England honors and was a member of Dartmouth's 2003 Ivy League championship team. Prior to his Division I experience, Mike was an All American at Wilton High School and led the Warriors to FCIAC Championship in '99 and State Championships in '98 & '99. Mike has played for the Merrill Lynch Bulls Lacrosse Club and Juiced Moose Lacrosse Club since graduation, and is active in the lacrosse community. You can find him on the sidelines of Brien McMahon High School and Greenwich Academy's lacrosse teams. Mike lives in Greenwich and teaches math at Greenwich Academy.

Christina Hargrove - Central Connecticut State - Division I midfielder

 

Christina Hargrove.  An all around athlete, Christina Hargrove was recruited for both collegiate soccer and lacrosse, but lacrosse is her passion.  She was a midfielder for the Division I team at Central Connecticut State University and has been coaching girls ages 7-17 at Armonk Indoor Lacrosse for several years.  She is also a certified lifeguard, is completing her NASM personal training certification, and is a Biology major planning to go to medical school!
