Greenwich Country Day School

This year’s event theme, “Let the Games Begin” Celebrate Health and Fitness!, is a fun-packed salute to the Olympic Games with sports activities, face painting, musical activities, and much for kids (and adults!) of all ages. Olympic Sports Events by Greenwich 1on1:

Archery           Watch an exciting Olympic archery exhibition by Cos Cob Archers.

Athletics          Run sprints and relays, try the long jump with pro runner John Byrne.

Baseball          Pitch with former Seattle Mariner Greg McCarthy & Phillies' Mike Lombardi.

Basketball       Shoot hoops with top NCAA men's coaches Tim O'Toole and Justin Evanovich.

Field Hockey   Dribble and shoot with Trinidad's national player Sharon Duncan.

Golf                 Putt and chip with The Better Golf Academy's Linda Viebrock.

Soccer             Shoot out with pro pleary Douglas Cunningham and college stars.

Tae Kwon Do  Watch a black-belt sparring demo and break some boards with Alex Mroz.

Tug of War      Featuring NCAA's "At the Half" host Seth Davis

Proceeds from the event benefit pediatric programs at Greenwich Hospital. FFGH is a volunteer group of parents working together to strengthen and enhance pediatric and adolescent health services.
