LATE BREAKING....Fun Track & Field Class next week!
For boys and girls ages 7-13
Learn basic running skills & technique through baton races, sprints, hurdles, water relays...
Kids love to run, jump and race. Running is great for kids who are not into traditional team sports such as baseball and soccer. And developing proper running form, speed, and endurance early on is also essential for sports such as soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, and tennis. Learning proper technique now may also help protect against ACL's injuries later on.
· Proper running technique
· Short runs with the coaches to work on stamina
· Mini hurdles (really fun)
· Baton relays, water relays, sprint races, sibling races and other fun running games
· Long jump, triple jump, soft javelin throw
Mon-Thurs. 6/23-6/26 (Friday rain date)
9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. · Riverside School
$50 per day · Wear sneakers, cool clothes, and bring water
Maximum 7 kids per coach · ages 7-13 (grouped by age)
